Managed Access Control in Austin & Central Texas

Managed access control gives an organization a defined way to keep users, credentials, schedules and door permissions current without assigning every administrative task to on-site staff. Avenger Security offers quote-based administration for supported systems, including compatible Brivo deployments, with the service level documented before work begins.

What managed administration can include

  • Adding, changing and removing authorized users
  • Issuing and revoking supported card, fob or mobile credentials
  • Maintaining access groups, schedules and holiday calendars
  • Reviewing door events and preparing agreed activity reports
  • Coordinating authorized changes across one or multiple locations
  • Escalating hardware, connectivity or door-condition problems for service

Remote entry and video verification

Remote unlocks are available only when the installed system supports them and the client has approved a written authorization and verification procedure. Video verification is available only when compatible video is installed, integrated and included in the quoted scope. Access-control administration is not automatically the same service as 24/7 alarm or live-video monitoring.

We do not promise automatic dispatch, continuous live operator coverage or a video-linked record for every access event unless those capabilities are specifically included in the selected systems and service agreement.

Controls that protect the client

Before managed service begins, we document authorized requestors, identity-verification steps, door groups, schedules, after-hours contacts and escalation rules. Remote actions must follow that approved policy. Administrative convenience does not replace required free egress, fire-alarm interfaces, emergency procedures or other life-safety functions.

Platform and service requirements

Brivo cloud access control requires an active subscription. Platform licensing, credentials, hardware, cellular or network services, video storage and monitoring are separate unless the proposal says otherwise. Managed administration is priced according to the number of sites, doors, users, change volume, response window, reporting and verification requirements.

Plan the right service level

New clients considering managed access control can receive an on-site visit and up to one hour of initial consultation at no cost. Troubleshooting or repair of an existing access-control system is billable. Basic diagnostic service is $95.00 after the first hour. Additional work and parts are quoted according to the required scope.
