New clients considering a new fire alarm service can receive an on-site visit and up to one hour of initial consultation at no cost. Detailed design, engineering, plans, permits and diagnostic work beyond that consultation are quoted separately.

Austin Fire reviews fire-protection-system plans associated with new construction and renovations. The permit, review and inspection path varies by scope. Approved plans, completed installation, monitoring signals, system interfaces and closeout documents should be verified before the requested acceptance or fire-final inspection.
The authority having jurisdiction determines final approval. Installation by a licensed contractor does not replace plan review, permits or acceptance testing when they are required.
